Can the iCloud lock be removed?
No. iCloud Activation Lock can only be removed by the original Apple ID owner. Reboot IT cannot remove it, and there is no legitimate third-party bypass. Do not purchase if you need a working phone.
Does the screen still work?
The display shows the iCloud lock screen — it powers on and displays. Cosmetic condition is as listed. The screen assembly itself may be suitable for harvesting into another iPhone 12.
Is there a warranty?
No standard warranty applies to activation or functionality as a phone. The unit is sold as-is for parts use. Reboot IT's standard refurbished warranty does not apply to iCloud locked devices.
What is the cosmetic condition?
The unit is Grade A — Excellent cosmetically, with minimal marks. Cosmetic condition does not affect the iCloud lock status.
How is it shipped?
Free standard AU shipping is included. The unit is packaged securely for transit.
Can I use it as an iPod or offline device?
No. iCloud Activation Lock prevents the device from being set up or used in any capacity — including as an offline media player. It will display the lock screen and nothing else.

Just having trouble greeting it linked to the internet otherwise it’s okay.
Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
