The XHJ2C assembly is designed exclusively for the Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 with regulatory model P29S. It is NOT compatible with the standard Latitude 7390 (non-2-in-1, P28S) due to different hinge geometry and cable routing. Confirm your unit's regulatory model label inside the battery bay or on the base plate before ordering.
After installation, the display restores full FHD IPS performance with factory-calibrated colour and brightness — no driver changes required. The integrated IR webcam supports Windows Hello facial recognition out of the box, connecting via the included video cable harness. Touch input is handled by the active digitiser in the panel assembly, recognised natively by Windows 10 and 11 without additional software.
The included 360° hinges are torque-balanced for the P29S chassis weight — replacing only the panel without the hinges on damaged units risks uneven tension and premature hinge failure. Installing the complete assembly as supplied avoids this risk entirely.

No — the XHJ2C assembly is for the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 (P29S) only. The standard 7390 (P28S) uses different hinges and a different display cable. Check the regulatory model label on the base of your unit before ordering.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
