The ASUS PB60 is a commercial mini PC rather than a consumer one, and this particular version was built as a Crestron UC Engine — the compute module that sat inside corporate meeting-room systems, driving displays and running conferencing software. That heritage tells you what to expect: hardware specified to run continuously, in a chassis designed to disappear behind a screen rather than sit on a desk.

The Core i5-9500T is the quiet achiever here. It is a 35W part, so it does not need aggressive cooling, but it still brings six physical cores to the job. For accounting packages, Office, a browser with a great many tabs open, line-of-business applications and video calls, it has real headroom. Windows 11 Pro is fully supported on a 9th Generation Core i5, so this is not a machine living on borrowed time.

Two things to plan around. The 8GB of memory is fitted as two 4GB sticks, which fills both slots — upgrading means replacing both rather than simply adding one, though the board accepts up to 32GB. And there is no internal speaker in this model; sound comes out over HDMI to your monitor or through the 3.5mm headphone jack, which suits it well to a desk with a monitor or headset but means it will be silent on its own. Can I use Wi-Fi on this machine?

Not as supplied. The Wi-Fi card is fitted and Windows will detect it, but the two external screw-on antennas are not included and without them the signal is too weak to be useful. Fitting a pair of standard RP-SMA antennas restores full wireless, and they are inexpensive and easy to source. If you are connecting by Ethernet, none of this affects you.

Does it have a built-in speaker?

No — this model does not include an internal speaker. Audio is carried over HDMI to your monitor, or through the 3.5mm headphone jack for speakers or a headset.

Is Windows 11 Pro included and activated?

Yes. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and activated against its own licence, ready to use on arrival, with domain join, BitLocker, Group Policy and Remote Desktop host available. There is no separate licence to buy.

Can I upgrade the memory or storage?

Yes, though note the 8GB is fitted as two 4GB sticks filling both slots, so an upgrade means replacing them rather than adding. The board takes up to 32GB. The M.2 SATA drive can also be swapped for a larger one.
