The Cisco CP-8845 is a premium 5-line SIP desk phone with a 5-inch WVGA (800×480) colour display, HD wideband voice, Bluetooth 4.0, and integrated 802.11b/g/n dual-band WiFi. It is fully SIP-based and compatible with Cisco UCM, BroadSoft, 3CX, Asterisk, and other SIP platforms. Cisco Intelligent Proximity allows pairing with a mobile device to share contacts and content wirelessly via Bluetooth. This unit is PoE powered (no adapter included) and ships with a 12-month Reboot IT warranty.
The CP-8845 occupies the upper-mid tier of Cisco's 8800 series and is typically deployed for managers, executives, and power users who make frequent calls and benefit from a large, clear display and Bluetooth headset support. In a Cisco UCM environment, the phone auto-provisions via TFTP, registers to the call manager, and inherits its directory, voicemail, and extension mobility configuration centrally. In a pure SIP environment (BroadSoft, 3CX, FreePBX), it registers via SIP with standard credentials and delivers the same HD audio quality.
Cisco Intelligent Proximity is a standout feature for mobile-heavy workers. When your smartphone is near the phone, Intelligent Proximity detects it over Bluetooth and displays your mobile contacts and recent calls on the 8845's screen — allowing you to dial from the desk phone while using your mobile number. You can also pull an active mobile call onto the desk phone's speakerphone for a more comfortable extended conversation.
WiFi connectivity eliminates the need for a separate Ethernet cable at the desk. The 8845 connects to the corporate WiFi network directly, authenticating via WPA2-Enterprise if required. For environments where a network cable is already present, the integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch passes through to a desktop PC, keeping cabling tidy at a single wall port. Note: no power adapter is included — the phone requires an 802.3af/at PoE switch port or a Cisco CP-PWR-CUBE-4 adapter purchased separately.

Does a power adapter come included?
No. The CP-8845 is powered via IEEE 802.3af/at PoE from a compatible network switch. If your switch does not support PoE, the Cisco CP-PWR-CUBE-4 power adapter (sold separately) is required. No adapter is included with this unit.
Is this phone SIP or SCCP?
The CP-8845 runs SIP firmware and is compatible with any standard SIP call manager — Cisco UCM (in SIP mode), BroadSoft BroadWorks, 3CX, Asterisk, FreePBX, and others. It does not support the SCCP (Skinny) protocol used by older Cisco 79xx-series phones.
How does Cisco Intelligent Proximity work?
Intelligent Proximity pairs your iPhone or Android smartphone to the CP-8845 via Bluetooth. Once paired, your mobile contacts appear on the phone's display and you can dial them from the desk phone. Active mobile calls can be pulled to the desk phone's speakerphone for more comfortable extended conversations.
Can this phone connect via WiFi instead of a cable?
Yes. The integrated 802.11b/g/n dual-band WiFi connects directly to a WPA2-PSK or WPA2-Enterprise corporate WiFi network, eliminating the need for a dedicated Ethernet cable at the desk.

I was looking for an in-expensive all-in-one solution for my home office to replace my existing desktop and monitor. I found this EliteOne 800 on reboot IT for under $200. Just having trouble greeting it linked to the internet otherwise it’s okay.
Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
