Thin at 1.0" and weighing 5.7 pounds, the 15.6" ZBook 15 G6 Mobile Workstation from HP has been designed to thrive with heavy workloads from rendering, engineering, and simulation. It is powered by a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-9850H Six-Core processor which allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the system can be overclocked to 4.6 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 40GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs.
The 15.6" display features a Full UDH 3840 x 1080 2160resolution, an anti-glare finish, LED-backlighting, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a brightness of 1000 cd/m2, coverage for 72% of the sRGB gamut, and viewing angles of 85/85/85/85°. To help prevent side-angle viewing from onlookers, this display features Sure View privacy technology. The dedicated NVIDIA RTX 3000 graphics card has 4GB of discrete GDDR6 video memory and delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to an external display using the system's HDMI 2.0b and dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, the latter of which supports DisplayPort 1.4.
For storage of your files, this ZBook 15 G6 is equipped with a 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. If you'd like to expand the internal storage, there is one additional M.2 2280 slot for a SATA or PCIe SSD, plus a 2.5" / 7mm SATA drive bay. If you want to add external storage, optical drives, memory card readers, and more, the ZBook 15 G6 offers two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports that also support 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C. There are also two 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A charging port. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) are also built-in for wired and wireless networking, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology will also allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals.
