Performance In Use

The i7-8700 brings six cores and twelve threads at up to 4.6GHz, which is more than enough for the workloads most businesses run — large spreadsheets, line-of-business applications, video conferencing and heavy browser use all at once. Backed by 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, this is a machine that stays responsive rather than one that merely copes.

The touchscreen is what sets this unit apart from the rest of the range. Touch input on an IPS panel with wide viewing angles makes it genuinely useful for interactive deployments — reception terminals, point-of-sale, meeting rooms, self-service kiosks and any situation where a keyboard and mouse are awkward. The anti-glare coating holds up under office lighting.

One important limitation to be aware of: this unit was configured without a wireless card, so it connects by wired Ethernet only. Many corporate environments specify machines this way deliberately, and for a fixed reception or kiosk installation it is rarely an issue. If you do need wireless, a USB Wi-Fi adapter solves it, or we stock 7460 units with wireless fitted.

A – Excellent Minimal cosmetic marks. Screen free from scratches, dead pixels or discolouration under normal viewing. Chassis, stand and bezel in very good order with only light handling marks visible on close inspection.
B – Good Light to moderate cosmetic wear consistent with normal office use — surface scuffs or minor scratches on the chassis or stand. Screen remains free from distracting marks. Fully tested and functional.

Cosmetic grading refers to appearance only. Every unit is functionally tested to the same standard regardless of grade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this have Wi-Fi?

No. This unit was configured without a wireless card and connects by wired Ethernet only. A USB Wi-Fi adapter can be added, or we stock 7460 units with wireless fitted.

Is the touchscreen fully functional?

Yes. The 23.8-inch IPS panel is a working touchscreen, tested as part of our standard functional check.

What is the benefit of the IPS panel?

IPS delivers more accurate colour and much wider viewing angles than cheaper panel types, which matters particularly for a touchscreen that may be viewed from several positions.

Are a keyboard and mouse included?

Peripherals are not guaranteed with refurbished units. Please contact us before ordering if you need a keyboard and mouse supplied.

Can I mount this on an arm or wall?

Yes. The chassis carries a standard VESA mounting pattern once the stand is removed, so it can be arm or wall mounted.

Is this covered by warranty?

Yes — a full 12-month Reboot IT warranty is included, handled from our Melbourne workshop.

Do you ship Australia wide?

Yes. Shipping costs apply based on size and destination — rates are calculated at checkout.

Can you supply a tax invoice?

Yes. A GST tax invoice is issued with every order, suitable for business accounting and asset registers.
