The Tab E10 is built for one job at a time, and it does that job calmly. The quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 2GB of RAM are comfortable with streaming video, catch-up TV, web browsing, email, e-books, music, video calls over Wi-Fi and the lighter end of the Play Store. Where the money has clearly gone is the screen: a 10.1-inch IPS panel with proper viewing angles, which is the difference between a tablet that gets picked up every evening and one that lives in a drawer.
It is worth being straight about the limits, because they are real. With 2GB of RAM, stacking a dozen browser tabs behind a video will make the tablet reload things as you switch between them. Demanding 3D games and video editing are outside what this hardware was designed for. The tablet also runs Android 8.0 Oreo as shipped, and Lenovo no longer issues updates for it — a growing number of newer apps now require Android 9 or later and simply will not install. If one particular app is the whole reason for the purchase, check its Play Store requirements before you order.
Read against those limits, it is a very sensible buy. This is a first tablet for a child, a simple reader for an older family member, a kitchen screen for recipes and radio, a spare device for travel or the car, a second screen for streaming while the TV is busy, or a single-purpose display for a reception desk or waiting room. For any of those, it delivers a full-size screen and a full day of battery for a fraction of what a current-generation tablet costs — which is exactly the point.

Does this tablet take a SIM card?
No. This is the Wi-Fi-only TB-X104F model, so there is no SIM slot and no mobile data. Connect it to home or office Wi-Fi, or share your phone's hotspot when you are out.
Can I add more storage?
Yes. There is a microSD card reader, so you can add your own card and move photos, music and downloaded shows off the 16GB of internal storage. A card is not included, and we would recommend fitting one if you plan to download much video.
Will it run the apps I use?
It runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Mainstream apps such as YouTube, Chrome, Kindle, Facebook and most streaming services work fine. However, some newer apps now require Android 9 or later and will not install on this tablet, and no further Android updates are available for it. If one specific app is essential to you, check its Play Store requirements before ordering.
Is it fast enough for a child's schoolwork?
For reading, web research, watching class videos and light apps taken one at a time, yes. It is not intended for heavy multitasking, large 3D games or anything demanding, so treat it as a reading and viewing device rather than a laptop substitute.
Does it come with a charger?
Yes, a compatible micro-USB charger is supplied with every tablet. Note that this model uses micro-USB rather than USB-C, so a modern phone cable will not fit.
What condition will the battery be in?
Grade A units are tested at 70% or more of original capacity and Grade B units at 50–70%. Batteries are consumable and carry a 30-day battery warranty; the tablet itself is covered for the full 12 months.
How is it shipped, and how quickly?
Free standard AU shipping is included. Orders are picked, tested and dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse, with tracking emailed to you as soon as the parcel leaves us.
This tablet is covered by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty. If a covered fault appears within that period we will repair or replace the unit, and our team is contactable directly — you are not routed through an overseas call centre. Batteries, as consumable components, are covered for 30 days.
