The Surface Pro 7+ is the business refresh of the Pro 7, and the changes are the ones that matter. Intel's 11th Gen i5-1135G7 brings Iris Xe graphics and a solid performance lift, battery life improved substantially, and Microsoft finally made the SSD removable - a genuine advantage for anyone with data-handling obligations.
In daily use it handles office suites, large browser sessions, Teams calls and light photo editing without fuss. The 12.3-inch PixelSense display is excellent: 2736x1824 in a 3:2 aspect ratio, which shows far more of a document or spreadsheet than a widescreen panel of the same size.
It works as three devices. On its own it is a tablet for reading, marking up and inking with a Surface Pen. With a Type Cover attached it is a compact laptop with a proper keyboard and trackpad. Docked over USB-C it drives external displays and peripherals for full desk work. Windows Hello face sign-in makes unlocking instant.

Is a keyboard or pen included?
No. The Surface Pro 7+ tablet is the core unit. The Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen are separate accessories and are not included unless the listing states otherwise.
What is different about the Pro 7+ versus the Pro 7?
Three things: 11th Gen Intel processors with Iris Xe graphics instead of 10th Gen, noticeably better battery life, and a removable SSD. The chassis and display are otherwise the same.
Is the SSD really removable?
Yes. The Pro 7+ was the first consumer Surface Pro with a technician-accessible M.2 2230 drive, which makes data destruction and drive replacement straightforward.
Does it have LTE?
This unit is the Wi-Fi configuration. Microsoft did offer an LTE version of the Pro 7+, but this is not it - there is no SIM slot.
Is Windows 11 Pro installed and activated?
Yes - Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) is installed, activated and ready to use on first boot.
What is the battery condition?
Grade A units hold 70%+ of original capacity and Grade B units 50-70%. Both include a 30-day battery warranty.
