The ThinkBook 15 G4 combines onboard memory with a single SO-DIMM slot, so some expansion is possible depending on the exact board revision. Treat 16GB as the working specification and verify the slot configuration if you plan to upgrade.
Can I upgrade the SSD?
Yes. The 256GB M.2 NVMe drive is accessible under the base panel and can be replaced with a larger drive.
