The i5-1245U is a hybrid design — two performance cores handle the work you are waiting on, while eight efficiency cores absorb background tasks like sync, indexing and antivirus. In practice that means a video call stays smooth while a large spreadsheet recalculates behind it, and the fan stays quiet doing it. Paired with 16GB of memory, this is a machine you can leave running for a fortnight without closing anything.
At 13.3 inches and roughly 1.2kg, it is built for people who work in more than one place. The 360° hinge earns its keep in meetings: fold it into tent mode to share a screen across a desk, or flat into tablet mode to mark up a document by hand. The Gorilla Glass 6 panel is the reason this works as a genuine tablet rather than a laptop that technically bends — it is stiff enough to write on directly.

Can the memory be upgraded later?
No. The 16GB of DDR4-3200 is soldered directly to the mainboard on this model, so the configuration you buy is permanent. This is normal for thin convertibles and is the main reason to buy the memory you need up front.
Does it come with a stylus?
A pen is not included, but the display supports active pen input. Any Dell Active Pen or compatible MPP stylus will work.
Is Windows 11 Pro genuine and activated?
Yes. Every machine ships with a genuine, activated Windows 11 Pro licence and a clean installation.
Can it run two external monitors?
Yes. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI together will drive two external displays alongside the built-in screen, and a single-cable Thunderbolt dock handles power, video and peripherals at once.
What does the 360-degree hinge actually give me?
Four usable positions: standard laptop, tent for sharing a screen across a table, stand for watching or presenting, and flat tablet for handwriting and signatures.
