As a primary or secondary display for office work, the E2220H does the unglamorous job well. 1920 x 1080 on a 21.5" panel is the resolution most business software is still designed around, so text renders cleanly at 100% scaling and two documents sit side by side without squinting.
What distinguishes it is DisplayPort 1.2 alongside VGA, so it connects to both current and legacy machines. For a fleet rollout that has to work with machines of several different ages, that flexibility saves a drawer full of adapters.
It is worth being clear about the ceiling. This is a 60 Hz office panel with 250 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It is comfortable under fluorescent office lighting and entirely adequate for documents, email, browsing and video calls. It is not a colour-critical display and it is not a gaming monitor, and it is priced accordingly.
