The 3Com Baseline Switch 2948-SFP Plus (3CBLSG48) is a 48-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with four Gigabit SFP combo ports and a web management interface. It suits a small business, school or lab network that needs a lot of gigabit ports in one rack unit. This unit is graded Good by Reboot IT in Melbourne and comes with a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.

Performance in Use
All 48 copper ports auto-negotiate up to gigabit speed with auto MDI/MDIX, so any cable type connects. The four SFP combo ports take Gigabit fibre transceivers to link to another switch or building. The web interface handles port settings, VLANs and link aggregation, and a console port is available for recovery. The switch draws around 70W and fits a 19-inch rack or sits on a shelf.
