Seven keys and two lines of display cover the everyday actions those users perform: answer, transfer, park, a handful of internal speed dials.
For an organisation still running Samsung OfficeServ, the practical value is standardisation and spares. Handsets get dropped, cords fail, and users move desks. Can I plug this into a normal phone socket at home?
No. The DS-5007S is a digital handset that must connect to a compatible Samsung OfficeServ, DCS or iDCS phone system. It will not work on a standard analogue line.
Does it work with VoIP or a cloud phone service?
No. This is a digital handset, not a SIP or IP phone, so it cannot register to a VoIP provider. It needs the Samsung PABX it was designed for.
Which Samsung systems is it compatible with?
The OfficeServ 7000 series — including the 7030, 7100, 7200 and 7400 — plus the older Samsung DCS and iDCS platforms.
How many keys does it have, and can they be reassigned?
