Why is no operating system included?

This is a 4th generation Intel platform. It is not supported for Windows 11, and rather than ship it with an unsupported operating system we supply it bare so you can install whatever suits — Linux, a legacy Windows build under your own licence, or a single-purpose image.

Can this run Windows 11?

No. The 4th generation processor is not on Microsoft’s supported list for Windows 11. If you require Windows 11 we stock 8th generation and newer all-in-one models.

Will it run Linux?

Yes, and it is a good candidate. This generation of Intel hardware is very well supported by mainstream Linux distributions, with graphics, wireless and audio all working out of the box on most.

Does the DVD drive work?

Yes. The integrated DVD writer is tested as part of our standard functional check.

Is this a touchscreen?

No. This is a non-touch display. We do stock touchscreen all-in-one models if that is what you need.

Are a keyboard and mouse included?

Peripherals are not guaranteed with refurbished units. Please contact us before ordering if you need a keyboard and mouse supplied.

Can I mount this on an arm or wall?

Yes. The chassis carries a standard VESA mounting pattern once the stand is removed, so it can be arm or wall mounted.
