The Overture Hatteras HN404-CP-1E is an EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) copper access device that bonds up to four copper pairs to deliver carrier-grade Ethernet with a 10/100 handoff, up to around 15 Mbps. Backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty and professionally tested at our Melbourne facility.

EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) devices like the Hatteras HN400 series let carriers deliver reliable Ethernet services over the existing copper plant, without laying fibre to every premises. By bonding multiple copper pairs, the unit aggregates the capacity of each pair into a single Ethernet link, improving both throughput and resilience — if one pair degrades, the bonded group continues to carry traffic.

At the customer premises, the Overture Hatteras HN404-CP-1E terminates the copper service and presents a familiar 10/100 Ethernet handoff, so the customer router or switch connects exactly as it would to any Ethernet service. All-in-one Solution for Home Office

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
