This is a bare system board harvested from a working Dell Latitude 3490 / 3590. It's the ideal repair part when a unit has a failed motherboard — liquid damage elsewhere, a board that no longer powers on, or a good chassis and screen you want to keep in service — rather than scrapping the whole machine.
The i5-8250U processor is permanently soldered to the board, but memory and storage remain modular: fit your own DDR4 SODIMMs, an M.2 or 2.5" SATA drive, and an M.2 Wi-Fi card to complete the build.
Installation is a technician-level job — transferring the board into the chassis, reconnecting the display, battery, antennas, speakers and I/O, and reapplying thermal paste. We recommend fitting by an experienced repairer.

No. The board has two DDR4 SODIMM slots but ships without memory — fit your own DDR4 SODIMMs.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
