The Dell Wyse 5070 is not a desktop PC — it is an endpoint designed to connect to a virtual desktop or terminal server, where the applications and data live centrally. Judged as a desktop it would seem underpowered; judged as what it is, it does the job precisely.

The quad-core Celeron J4105 and 4GB of memory are well matched to that role: enough to run the client software, drive dual displays and handle local peripherals, while drawing around 10W. The 32GB eMMC holds the operating system and client, not user data — that stays on the server where it is backed up and managed.

It suits VDI rollouts, call centres, schools, warehouses, point-of-sale and any environment where a fleet of simple, reliable, low-power endpoints beats a fleet of full desktops. Condition Grades

A — Excellent Minimal signs of use. Light marks may be visible on close inspection, but the chassis and front panel present as near-new. Fully tested and cleaned inside and out.
B — Good Light cosmetic wear consistent with normal business use — surface scratches or scuffs on the case. Fully functional with no impact on performance.

Is this a replacement for a desktop PC?

No. A thin client connects to a virtual desktop or terminal server where the applications and data live. Without that infrastructure it will not do what a desktop does.

Why is no operating system included?

Thin clients are almost always deployed with a standard corporate image — Dell ThinOS, a Linux build, or a managed Windows image. Supplying it bare avoids you paying for a licence you would immediately overwrite.

What can I install on it?

Dell ThinOS, a lightweight Linux distribution, or Windows using a licence you already hold. The 32GB eMMC is sized for an operating system and client software, not for user data.

Does it support two monitors?

All-in-one Solution for Home Office

I was looking for an in-expensive all-in-one solution for my home office to replace my existing desktop and monitor. I found this EliteOne 800 on reboot IT for under $200.
