Crestron RMC3 3-Series Room Media Controller, PoE

The Crestron RMC3 is a 3-Series room media controller, part of Crestron's control range for meeting rooms and AV spaces. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), and this unit also ships with its power adapter.

This is a pre-owned unit in Excellent condition. It was checked at Reboot IT in Melbourne: it powered up over PoE and its status light came on green.

Performance in Use

In a Crestron room, the controller is the central unit that the room's control system is built around. The RMC3 is Crestron's 3-Series room media controller, a common choice for replacing a failed controller or adding a spare to an existing Crestron install.

It supports Power over Ethernet, so in rooms with a PoE network switch it can run from its network connection alone. Where there is no PoE, the included power adapter covers it. This unit powered up over PoE in our audit and showed a green light.

As a pre-owned controller it may still hold settings or a program from its previous site. It should be set up by someone familiar with Crestron systems before it goes into service.
