The 7000 Micro uses 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake (i5-12600T), while the 7090 uses 11th Gen Tiger Lake (i5-11500T). The 12th Gen delivers stronger single-thread performance, a larger cache, and support for WiFi 6E and PCIe 4.0 storage.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

Yes. The 7000 Micro has two SODIMM slots (currently 2 × 8GB = 16GB) expandable to 64GB. The M.2 slot holds the NVMe SSD and there's a 2.5-inch SATA bay for a secondary drive. The tool-free chassis opens easily.

How many monitors does it support?

Up to three displays simultaneously via Intel UHD 770 graphics: two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and one HDMI 2.0b on the rear, or two rear displays plus a USB-C display from the front port.

Is WiFi 6E included?

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.

Works excellently as advertised.

The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
