The Core i7-8665U is a four-core, eight-thread processor with vPro support and turbo to 4.8GHz. In a 13.3-inch chassis that is a genuinely capable specification — it will run a heavy browser session, Microsoft 365, a Teams or Zoom call and a line-of-business application at the same time without complaint.
The 256GB SSD keeps the system responsive: boot, wake from sleep and application launch are all effectively instant. 8GB of memory is comfortable for standard business workloads; if you routinely keep thirty browser tabs open alongside heavy spreadsheets, the 16GB configuration of this same model is the better starting point.
This is a machine for people who move — consultants, sales staff, anyone working between an office, a home desk and a client site. Docked to a monitor and keyboard it works as a full desktop; unplugged it is light enough that you stop noticing it. Is the battery replaced?
Batteries are tested, not automatically replaced. Grade A units hold 70% or more of original design capacity and Grade B units 50–70%. Every battery carries a 30-day warranty.
Can the memory be upgraded?
Memory in the Latitude 7300 is soldered to the mainboard, so 8GB is fixed for the life of the machine. If you need more, choose a 16GB configuration from the outset.
Can I upgrade the SSD?
Yes. The 256GB M.2 NVMe drive is accessible under the base panel and can be replaced with a larger drive.
Does it support docking?
Yes — the USB-C / Thunderbolt port supports Dell WD-series docks and most third-party USB-C docks, driving external monitors, network and power over one cable.
Is Windows genuine?
Yes. Windows 11 Pro is installed and activated against the licence embedded in the unit.
Why Windows 11 when this is an 8th-generation machine?
The Core i7-8665U is on Microsoft's supported processor list for Windows 11, so the machine is licensed and eligible to run it.
