Does the USB-C port charge my laptop?
The U2419H's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode plus up to 5V/0.9A (approximately 4.5W) — enough to slow-charge or power very low-draw devices, but not fast enough to charge most laptops at full load. It is primarily a video signal input rather than a charging solution.
Can I run two monitors from one PC using this?
Yes. The DisplayPort 1.2 output (daisy-chain) allows you to connect a second monitor directly from the U2419H's DP out port, so your PC only needs one DP connection to drive both displays. The second monitor must also support DP 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport (MST).
What's the difference between the U2419H and P2419H?
The U2419H is Dell's UltraSharp model — it adds USB-C DisplayPort input, a DP daisy-chain output, and a taller 130mm height adjustment range. The P2419H is the standard Professional line without USB-C or DP out. Both share the same IPS panel and 60 Hz refresh rate.
Is the stand included?
Yes, the ergonomic height-adjustable stand is included. Alternatively, the monitor is VESA 100×100mm compatible so it can be wall-mounted or placed on a third-party monitor arm.
Does it have built-in speakers?
No built-in speakers. There is a 3.5mm audio output jack for connecting external headphones or speakers when audio is passed through the HDMI or DP input.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
