What is a refurbished device?
A refurbished device is a pre-owned item that has been restored to meet high-quality standards. At Reboot IT, we adhere to strict quality guidelines, ensuring that our refurbished products are not the same as used or secondhand items. We meticulously clean, test, and assess each device, replacing worn parts with high-quality components.
Unlike used items, which lack guarantees and rely solely on the seller's word regarding condition, refurbished devices come with assurance of quality and reliability.

A small-form-factor business desktop with an Intel Core i5-3570 quad-core, 8GB RAM, a 250GB SSD and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 graphics card. Supplied with no operating system. Professionally tested and graded by Reboot IT, with a 12-month warranty included.
This is the better-specified of the OptiPlex 9010 units we carry: the faster i5-3570 processor, twice the memory, solid-state storage in place of a mechanical drive, and a discrete graphics card. Each of those matters in a different way, but the SSD and the GPU are the two you notice.
The GeForce GT 710 is not a gaming card and should not be bought as one. What it does well is drive multiple displays cleanly and handle video playback without loading the processor. For a desk running two or three monitors — dispatch, trading, monitoring dashboards, digital signage — that is exactly the right tool, and it is a capability the integrated graphics on this generation struggle to match.
Combined with the 250GB SSD, the machine boots in seconds and stays responsive through a working day. The compact chassis fits where a tower will not. Two constraints worth knowing: the SFF format takes low-profile cards only, which the GT 710 already occupies, so further expansion is limited; and this hardware generation predates Microsoft's Windows 11 requirements, so Windows 10 or a Linux distribution is the appropriate choice.
| Processor | Intel Core i5-3570, 3rd Gen, 4 cores, 3.40 GHz base / 3.80 GHz turbo |
| RAM | 8GB DDR3 |
| Storage | 250GB SSD |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 (dedicated card) |
| Operating System | No OS installed |
| Form Factor | Small Form Factor (SFF), low-profile cards only |
| Expansion | Tool-less chassis access; GPU occupies the low-profile slot |
| Warranty | 12 months — Reboot IT |
| Best For ✓ | Not For ✗ |
|---|---|
| Multi-monitor desks — dispatch, dashboards, signage | Gaming — the GT 710 is not a gaming card |
| Office and admin work needing SSD responsiveness | Anyone needing Windows 11 support |
| Video playback without loading the processor | Further expansion — the card fills the slot |
| Desks where a full tower will not fit | Video editing or 3D rendering |
| Fleet rollouts with a custom OS image | Buyers wanting Windows pre-installed |
| Grade | Description |
|---|---|
| A — Excellent | Minimal cosmetic marks. Fully tested and functional. |
| B — Good | Light wear and minor scratches consistent with normal office use. Fully tested and functional. |
Is the GeForce GT 710 good enough for gaming?
No. The GT 710 is an entry-level display card, not a gaming GPU. Its value is in driving multiple monitors reliably and handling video playback without loading the processor. For gaming you would need a considerably more capable card and a chassis with the power and space to take it.
How many monitors can it drive?
The GT 710 supports multiple simultaneous displays, typically two or three depending on the card's port configuration — more than the integrated graphics of this generation manage comfortably.
Does it come with Windows?
No. This unit ships with no operating system installed. Windows 10 or a Linux distribution can be installed. This generation of hardware does not meet Microsoft's requirements for Windows 11.
How does this compare to the OptiPlex 9010 full-size desktop?
This SFF unit has the faster i5-3570, 8GB RAM, an SSD and a dedicated graphics card, in a much more compact chassis. The full-size desktop version has a slower i5-3470, 4GB RAM and a mechanical drive, but accepts full-height cards and more drives. Choose this one for multi-monitor work in a small space; choose the tower if you intend to expand it.
Does it include a monitor, keyboard or mouse?
No — the desktop unit and power cable are supplied. Peripherals are sold separately, and we usually have refurbished monitors and accessories in stock.
What shipping options are available?
Shipping costs apply based on size and destination — rates are calculated at checkout.
