The VivoBook 15 X515JA sits in the sweet spot for everyday computing. The 10th Gen Core i5-1035G1 is a four-core, eight-thread chip built on Intel's Ice Lake architecture, and paired with 8GB of RAM it handles the daily workload of most office and home users without fuss. Email, a browser with plenty of tabs open, Word and Excel, Teams or Zoom — all running together is entirely normal territory for this machine.
The 256GB NVMe SSD is the component you notice most. Where an older laptop with a mechanical hard drive takes a minute or more to become usable after power-on, this one is at the desktop and ready to work in a matter of seconds. Files copy quickly, applications launch without the pause you learn to expect from ageing hardware, and the machine stays responsive when you ask it to do several things at once.

Yes. This unit ships with Windows 11 installed and activated, so it is ready to use out of the box. There is no separate licence to purchase.
Can the RAM or storage be upgraded?
The X515JA has an accessible M.2 slot for the SSD and a SODIMM slot for memory expansion, so upgrades are generally possible. Configurations vary between production runs, so if a specific upgrade path is essential to you, contact us before ordering and we will check the actual unit.
How does the battery perform?
Battery health is graded before dispatch. Grade A units carry 70% or better of original capacity, Grade B units between 50% and 70%. Batteries are consumable components and carry a 30-day warranty.
What is the difference between the Excellent and Good grades?
The difference is cosmetic condition and battery health, not function. Both grades are fully tested and carry the same 12-month hardware warranty. Excellent units show minimal marks; Good units show light wear from normal use.
Does it have a webcam for video calls?
Yes, the X515JA includes a built-in webcam and microphone, suitable for Teams, Zoom and similar video conferencing applications.
