The Agilestar GLC-T-AS is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver. It turns an SFP port into a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port, for runs of up to 100 metres over Cat5e or better copper cable. It is inspected by our team in Melbourne before it is listed and is backed by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.

Performance in Use

A 1000BASE-T SFP is the simple way to connect copper Ethernet to a switch or router SFP port: a spare uplink, a link to a device with only an RJ45 port, or a short run across a comms room. It needs no fibre or optics at the other end, just a standard Ethernet cable, and reaches up to 100 metres over Cat5e, the standard 1000BASE-T distance.
