• Built-in DVD drive: read discs — handy for older media and software installs.

Performance In Use

For everyday business and home computing, this EliteDesk 800 G3 is a dependable workhorse. The quad-core i5-7600 handles web browsing, email, video calls and Microsoft Office comfortably, while the SSD means Windows 10 Pro boots and loads apps quickly.

With DisplayPort output and integrated Intel HD 630 graphics, adding a second monitor is straightforward. The 8GB of DDR4 keeps a typical workload running smoothly, with room to add more memory and storage later if needed.

A quick note on connectivity: this unit connects over wired Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) and does not have built-in Wi-Fi; a USB Wi-Fi adapter can be added if needed. It is a great-value choice for offices, reception desks, point-of-sale and home study, though not intended for heavy gaming or 4K video editing.
