What is a Copilot+ PC and why does it matter?
Copilot+ PCs are a new class of Windows machines with a dedicated NPU rated above 40 TOPS. They unlock Microsoft AI features that simply don't run on older Intel/AMD laptops: Windows Studio Effects (background blur, auto-framing, eye contact in any video app), Live Captions across the OS, Cocreator generative AI in Paint, and an upcoming Recall feature. The Snapdragon X Elite's 45-TOPS Hexagon NPU comfortably exceeds the certification threshold.
Will my Windows apps work on ARM?
Most modern apps now have native ARM64 builds — Office, Edge, Chrome, Teams, Slack, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, Spotify, Zoom, and Visual Studio all run natively. For legacy x86 apps, Microsoft's Prism emulator handles them smoothly for office and business workflows. Heavy professional software (Adobe Premiere Pro full feature set, some pro audio, certain enterprise apps with hardware-locked DRM, and most anti-cheat games) may not run or perform poorly.
Can I run games on it?
Light and indie games run well via emulation, but the XPS 13 9345 is not a gaming machine — the Adreno X1 GPU is best for casual gaming, productivity workloads and AI acceleration, not modern AAA titles. Many competitive games with anti-cheat (Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends) currently do not support ARM Windows.
Can the RAM or SSD be upgraded?
No on RAM — the 32GB LPDDR5X is integrated into the Snapdragon X Elite package for maximum bandwidth and minimum power. The 256GB M.2 2230 SSD is removable and can be upgraded to a higher-capacity 2230-form-factor NVMe drive by a competent technician.
Is the Windows 11 Pro licence genuine?
Yes — every unit ships with a digitally activated genuine Windows 11 Pro ARM licence tied to the motherboard. No product key sticker is required.
What's included in the box?
The laptop only. A compatible USB-C 60W+ Power Delivery adapter is required for charging — any standard USB-C PD charger of 60W or higher will work, and adapters are available separately if you need one.

Just having trouble greeting it linked to the internet otherwise it’s okay.
Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
